Chinese Feng Shui

                                                   I. What is Feng Shui

 

       Feng Shui is a comprehensive metaphysical art with a long history in the Chinese nation, based on the principles of traditional Chinese culture and usually associated with luck, good or bad omens, and other supernatural phenomena.

       

       People will use feng shui and other techniques to determine whether a place is suitable for living or burial, but its not just a matter of architecture, it is closely related to astronomy, geography, physics, psychology, pedagogy, sociology, political science and so on, it's a comprehensive discipline, and in recent years, some people have begun to re-interpret feng shui from the point of view of environmental psychology and sustainable development.

                             

                                            II. Origin and development 

                                               of the term "feng shui"

     The term "feng shui" was first used in the Eastern Jin Dynasty by Guo Pu's "burial book": burial, multiply the angry also. The scripture said: gas by the wind is scattered, the boundary of the water is stopped, gathered so that not scattered, traveling so that there is a stop, so it is called feng shui.

     Throughout history, the pre-Qin Dynasty was the gestation period of Feng Shui; Wei, Jin, North and South Dynasties, Feng Shui was spread; Song Dynasty was the prevalent period, and Ming and Qing Dynasty was the flooding period.

     In modern history, Feng Shui was very prevalent in old China, after the liberation and the Cultural Revolution, China's Feng Shui was devastated and destroyed, but in folk practice, there are still potential high people and Feng Shui use of the market.
  

      In recent years, with the development of the construction industry and ecological environment science, international attention to feng shui, feng shui, this ancient science has been revitalized.
